How DailyDish Studio works

A plain-language walkthrough of what happens from connecting TikTok to a video going live.

1. Connect your TikTok account

Click “Continue with TikTok” and sign in through TikTok's own login screen — we never see your password. TikTok asks you to approve two things: sharing your basic profile (so the dashboard can show which account you're posting to), and letting DailyDish Studio publish videos you approve.

2. Upload or pick a video

Drag a video in from your phone or computer, or reuse one already in your library. You'll see a live preview before you do anything else.

3. Set your caption and audience

Write a caption, choose who can see the video, and set comment/Duet/Stitch permissions — all using the same options TikTok's own app gives you.

4. Post now or schedule it

Publish immediately, or pick a date and time in Saskatoon time. You can see everything coming up on the calendar.

5. Track what happened

Every post shows a live status — queued, uploading, processing, published, or failed with a reason and a retry button.

What TikTok data we use

Basic profile info

Your TikTok display name and avatar, shown in the dashboard so you always know which account you're posting to.

Permission to publish

The ability to upload and publish only the specific videos you create and approve inside DailyDish Studio — nothing is posted automatically without that approval.

Nothing else

We don't read your TikTok messages, followers list, or analytics beyond what's needed to confirm a post published successfully.
